Transcription of Annotations
Front endpapers contain notes regarding biographical information on Zig Zigler and his family and highlight crucial events in his life, e.g. his Dad's death at an early age; the founding of his WearEver Aluminum cookware company; his move to Dallas in 1968; the failure of his Automotive Performance company; his acceptance of Jesus Christ as his Savior in 1972; his successful career as a motivational speaker; his daughter Suzan's death in 1995; his speech to the Republican National Committee in 1998. -- Annotations by Brian Lamb in the margins and underlining of pertinent phrases throughout the book. -- Examples: p. 94: "I decided that it was simply not wise for me to continue in a habit that could become addictive and be very destructive." -- p. 148: "For the first time I really understood the power of politics and how important it was to be good friends with the man in charge." -- p. 183: "I receive an average of nearly a book every day of the year from someone wanting an endorsement, and it's humanly impossible to read a book very single day and at the same time do the reading and research necessary to keep my material fresh and bring up-to-date encouragement to my audiences."
