On May 16th beginning at 7:00pm est, C-SPAN, the Cable Satellite Public Affairs Network, will provide its viewers with live coverage of the 42nd annual White House News Photographers Association awards dinner.
C-SPAN’s coverage of this gala event will include live viewer call-in programs, opening the network’s phone lines to questions and comments from viewers across the nation.
This year’s ‘Photographer of the Year’ will be presented to Jodi Cobb of ‘National Geographic’ magazine and Tad Dukehart of Channel 9, ‘Television Photographer of the Year.’
Pictured in the interview is C-SPAN President Brian Lamb and 1983 Photographer of the Year, Wally McNamee, ‘Newsweek’ magazine (right) and Chick Harrity, ‘U.S. News & World Report’ (center).
