Extensive notes on front and back end papers, half-title concerning Stalin's personal life his reaction to his second wife's death, Stalin's extracurricular activities, interests, womanizing, and drinking habits, the inner workings of his regime. a list of Stalin's 'constant companions' along with notes on their wives and actions supporting Stalin's rule, Stalin's ambition, reign, his fear of betrayal, allies, enemies, brutality, and The Terror. Examples include: "pock-marked Joe," all told - 1.5 million arrests 700,000 shot," Nadya's suicide - made the Terror inevitable," "Stalin - henpecked in his bathroom," "first marriage to Kato (1904?) she dies 1907 - 'last warm feelings for people,'" "within 3 weeks of war with Germany - Russian lost 2 million men, 3,500 tanks 6,000 aircraft," "Order no. 220 - families killed if soldiers surrender," "Stalin did favors for women often," "Yeyhov - his only hobby other than fornicating was making model yachts," "Stalin's rule - when a man fell all those connected to him whether friends, lovers, or protégés fell with him," "wives influential - Nadya recommended Khrushchev," "new archive show he was a people person," "his paranoia - his unbalanced reactions," "he changed after 1932," "Benia coming to loathe Stalin," "Stalin orders arrest of Polina Molotov."
