Transcription of Annotations
Front and back end papers contain notes about liberals and conservatives, media, the Internet, the image of G.W. Bush as dumb vs. Albert Gore, Jr. as smart, Coulter's comments on other writers, Al Sharpton, Jesse Ventura, J. Edgar Hoover, Maureen Dowd, Nina Totenberg, Jesse Helms, Phyllis Schlafly. -- Annotations by Brian Lamb in the margins and underlining of pertinent phrases throughout the book. -- Examples: p. 29: "Predators are great fun for liberals. Criminals and poor people allow them to swell with a sense of their own incredible self-worth. That's the whole point of being a liberal: to feel superior to people with less money. They enjoy pitying unfortunate wretches and trifling with killers. Only the grasping acquisitive middle class, with their petty rules and morals, are a nascent threat to liberal pomposity." -- p. 57: "But a claim that the New York Times has a conservative bias can be explained only by the sheer joy liberals take in telling lies." - p. 70: "Media liberals not only personally know no conservatives, but they frequently appear to be completely unaware that conservatives exist." -- p. 151: "This is one of the grave injustices of the world: Democrats can run ridiculous and unsubstantial men for important national offices and no one will ever know because the media won't report it." -- p. 197: "Liberals have been wrong about everything in the last half-century." -- p. 204: "The point is that conservatives in America are the most tolerant (and long-suffering) people in the world."
